Day 5 - Behind the Scenes Team Building with 700+ students + future leaders in Romania - U.S. Arts Envoy Day In the Life

It seems often the case that when you're busy doing the work, you're not counting the score.

Reflecting on our week long visit in Romania, this was apparent.

We were able to directly connect with 700+ individuals in large and small groups, leading our one-of-a-kind Songwriter Team Building programs in three Romanian cities.

From national and international dignitaries working closing with the U.S. Embassy, to university law school and high school students in their classrooms and the American Corner of the Cluj Napoca national library, to leaders working to protect and respect the unique creative output of Romania and the E.U. region, we had an eventful week to say the least!

As a lifelong U.S. citizen, and part of a rural family that has not traveled widely abroad, it was enlightening to see a glimpse of life in Post-Communist Romania.

Here is a seldom seen statue dating back to the Communist era, located in a tucked away corner of the historic Sibiu Philharmonic Theatre.

This same Theatre contains the original Roman era stone architecture and fortifications from battles waged in the distant past.
