Title track on the forthcoming album Appalachia Kid by awarded songwriter Amanda Colleen Williams, whose recent credits include "I Can Be Me With You" on Garth Brooks' FUN album, the song tells an autobiographical story.
"This song and the others from the Appalachia Kid album are part of a collection exploring themes from hillbilly culture, inspired in part by JD Vance's book Hillbilly Elegy, and what it was like for me growing up in East Tennessee," says Williams. "I'm excited for people to hear the whole project."
