The song “I’m On Fire” was written and recorded by Bruce Springsteen in May 1985 for his Born In the U.S.A. album, and achieved top 10 charting position in the United States, and number one in Ireland, Netherlands, and Belgium.
Amanda’s cover version is a country-folk arrangement that maintains the passion of the original, while uncovering a new layer of meaning when sung from the woman’s point of view.
